Photo Hunt ~ Near ~

Near my home, in Seattle, is the wonderful Pike Place Public Market, filled with fresh fruit, flowers and fish from local farmers and fishermen. It first opened its doors for business in August of 1907, and is one of the oldest public markets in the USA. It sits on a hill and overlooks Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. It is a "must" see if you have never been to Seattle, or one to revisit if you have.
Thank you for stopping by, be sure to see all of the others "hunters" here!

If I ever make it out to Seattle, I definitely want to visit that market! I know I'd love it.

Hope you have a great weekend.

Welcome back to Photo Hunting, Sandra. Unless I have missed your recent efforts, seems like it's a while since you've taken part in this meme. :)

Hi Sandra,

Pike Place Public Market is a very cool place! I have only been there once or maybe twice. You are lucky to live close by.

Thanks for all your comments on my blog.

It's always good to be near a public market...especially if one loves to cook, like me! :)

Happy weekend!

It is a great market indeed and I have visited it several times as I live not so far in Vancouver, BC. where we have our own special market at Granville Island.

Happy weekend to you
